Ms. Iris

My name is Iris（翁小雯）, majoring in English Translation and Interpretation. I graduated in Jinan University in Guangzhou and studied in Tianjin Foreign Studies University for a master degree. I got the certificates of TEM-8 and BEC Higher. In the college, I have participated in various voluntary practices, working as in interpreter including in China-Italy SMEs Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference; The 3rd World Intelligence Conference; Global Promotion of Tianjin by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China; Tianjin Wuqing International Energy and Environmental Cooperation Seminar; China Green Companies Annual Conference, etc.. I also worked as an interpreter in America for about three months. In addition, I was engaged in an internship at the National Radio and Television Administration last year, responsible for organizing and coordinating the training of international trainees and the translation of trainees’ outing visits. For me, leveraging my skills and knowledge to help others in need is particularly meaningful, and that’s the reason why I sign up for this voluntary mission. In the pandemic, the COVID-19 is our common enemy, thus human need to be united in one to win this no-smoke battle. I want to be one of the soldiers in IACCR to assist in sharing experiences for different countries and make some contributions with my own strength.
